I been using the Kobo Vox eReader Tablet which runs Google Android Mobile operating system on a daily basis for over 4 months, and it works great as a color eReader and basic Tablet. I mostly use it to read eBooks, go on websites like Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, and play games like Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja, and more.
The Kobo Vox is light, and easy to hold, but it also has most of the features I am looking for in a budget tablet like a 7 inch High resolution 1024x600 pixel display for reading my ebooks more clearly, and watching video files in HD quality. The Vox also has a speaker on the top right which is good for personal listening, and if you want louder audio, you can use 3.5 mm headphones, or speakers to increase the listening volume on the Vox.
The battery life is pretty good on the Vox since it can be powered by the battery for up to 7 hours without needing to be recharged, so the battery usually last me a few days to a week before I need to charge it again since I use it only an hour a day.
One of the favorite things I like to use the Vox for is entertaining myself when there is a commercial on TV, I can read a eBook, watch a short video on YouTube, or play games like Angry Birds. Using the Vox color eReader is a lot more convenient then powering up my laptop, looking for a power plug to charge my laptop, and opening the shell on my laptop. With the Vox, I can just press the power button, and after 2 seconds or less my Vox awakes from sleep, and can launch any eBook, App, video, music, or website I want in seconds rather then minutes like a traditional PC or laptop.
The Kobo Vox is less then 200 dollars, but it can do so many things, and it is easy to upgrade the storage by just adding a 32GB microSD card to it, and I get more space for storing eBooks, video, music, photos, and my personal files.
